The versatile, renowned artist Patricia Karg is a sculptor, painter and "designer of living spaces". Her creations do not seek to be educational or provocative. Rather, she wants her work "to edify and broaden people's minds"; her works are intended to be "food for the soul". Among other places, you will find Patricia Karg's art works in the HOTEL AM STEPHANSPLATZ on the walls of the "Gelber Salon" of our publicly accessible bar >ara_gall<.
Patricia Karg, the artist and her art
The sculptor and painter Patricia Karg was born in Innsbruck in 1961; she graduated from the College of Wood and Stone Sculpture there in 1980. From 1980 to 1987 she studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich as a master student of Professor Hans Landner. As a versatile and dynamic artist, she works with wood, stone, artificial stone, bronze casting, iron and glass. Patricia Karg's preferred painting techniques are acrylic, oil, watercolour and graphics.
